International Foundation Witnesses Of Ashoora's Letter to UN Secretary-General on Condemnation of Hindu Crimes Against Muslims in India

International Foundation Witnesses Of Ashoora's Letter to UN Secretary-General on Condemnation of Hindu Crimes Against Muslims in India

In the name of the one and only God of heaven and earth

Your Excellency Antonio Guterres,

Respected Secretary-General of the United Nations

Sincerely, we are pleased to announce that the International Foundation Witnesses Of Ashoora for Human Rights was established in 2014 on humanitarian issues and has attracted 37,000 volunteer members in Iran and some countries since its inception. Also, this foundation (IFWA) aims to condemn one of the greatest crimes in the history of "the events of Ashura in the year 680 - the testimony of Hussein ibn 'Ali, peace be upon him, (the son of the last Messenger of Allah, the Most Merciful Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions), and wrote a petition with the prospect of collecting 20 million signatures from freelancers around the world to record this enormous event on the official UN calendar, which has numbered 5 million signatures from friends and human rights activists in several different countries until now.

Recent incidents in India, which is another Ashoora for human rights activists, have prompted us to take notes and announce some points around this matter;

As you know, the Government of India, in another brutal move in violation of UN humanitarian law, has tortured and martyred a large number of Muslims in the country recently, most of whom were victims of innocent women and children. These disgraceful acts have provoked the anger and protest of many human societies around the world. In a world in which the cries of human rights are shouting from the heads of various world powers, a sectarian country has allowed itself to breach human rights and violently abuse all humanitarian and human rights.

Therefore, we request you respectfully, as the Secretary-General of the United Nations, to declare a position on this matter, based on your mission, which is to seek the rights of the world's human and oppressed.

As a spontaneous and popular organization, we felt obliged and necessary, as a human duty, to inform you the cases in which the Indian criminal rulers violated the provision of international law, and committed further violations against a large number of Muslims in that country; that will be classified in the following three paragraphs:

.1. Which of the eight parts of “the Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief, November 25, 1981”, authorize governments and religious movements to interfere with the freedom of expression or the expression of one's religion or belief?

As it is obvious, throughout the announcement of this Universal Declaration, it is refer to the freedom of expression, opinion, religion, and the right to freedom of thought, in a clear and covert manner; So why have the bogus human rights activists been silent about the hostile actions of the Indian rulers against innocent Muslim people who have been tortured and killed for their belief in Islam?

Shouldn't it be condemned, as stated in article three of the Declaration that discrimination which is said that the discrimination among human beings on the ground of religion or belief is the violation of human dignity and a denial of the principles of the United Nations Charter, and should be declared a "violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms" and condemned in the Universal Declaration?

2. It is obviously provided in "Third Part, Article 6, paragraph 1" (United Nations International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) of 26 December 1966), that “Every human being has an inherent right to life. This right must be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his or her right to life”; So why were people deprived of their right to life, by the government and its supporter, for the sake of expressing their beliefs and having the religion of Islam?

Or even in accordance with Article 18 of this Section of the Covenant, which states in paragraphs 1 and 2 clearly that every individual is free to hold any opinion, religion or belief and can openly or privately, individually or socially publicize their opinion; So why did the oppressed Muslims of India and their citizenship rights, under the most severe sanctions, were violated, and their scholars, their religious, holy places, and mosques were attack?

3. The most significant crime committed in the killing and torture of Muslims in India is the case of genocide, as enshrined in the Convention on the Prevention of Mass Destruction and Punishment, adopted on December 1, by the States Parties to Resolution No. 7 December 5, 2006, condemns any crime that considers genocide contrary to the spirit and purpose of the United Nations.

Therefore, all five cases of Articles 1 and 2 of this Convention have occurred in India (some of which will be annexed hereto).

At the end, we request you respectfully , as the Secretary-General of the United Nations, to intervene in this matter under Article 1 of this Convention and to pursue legal action under Articles 4, 5, and 6 of this Convention for the prosecution and punishment of perpetrators.

Hoping for a world free of violence

International Foundation Witnesses Of Ashoora

(IFWA)
