This evening, the final hearing of the International Ashura Martyrs' Foundation's application for UN advisory status was held at its headquarters in New York.

According to the public relations of the International Foundation of Ashura Martyrs, a meeting of the Committee of Non-Governmental Organizations of the United Nations Economic and Social Council was held this evening in New York time with the aim of reviewing the files of international non-governmental organizations that had formally applied for UN advisory status. During this meeting, which was held on September 1, 2021, the request of the International Foundation of Ashura Martyrs for a UN advisory position was re-examined, because in the last meeting on May 21, 2021, this request was asked by a representative with an unnecessary question. Therefore, after answering the questions with details and documents, the Committee of Non-Governmental Organizations of the Economic and Social Council, without any objection or criticism, voted to approve the request of the International Foundation of Ashura Martyrs to obtain a special advisory position of the United Nations. .
